Sydney in pictures
After a very long bus journey from Byron Bay I finally reached Sydney, my last stop in Australia. I don’t usually like big cities, but I really enjoyed spending two days wandering around Sydney.
King’s Cross
Bars, clubs and strip clubs fill the streets of the sleazy King’s Cross.
The Rocks
The Rocks is the site of the first European settlement in Sydney. The narrow streets that once housed factories and warehouses are now filled with markets and pubs aimed at tourists.
Sydney Harbour Bridge
I had considered doing the bridge climb, but at almost $200 I decided that it was just too expensive.
Botanical Gardens
The Botanical Gardens provide an excellent escape from Sydney’s busy streets.
Sydney Opera House
The Sydney Opera House is one of the most recognisable buildings in the world.

Where did you take the Opera House pic from? Looks like you're very high up.
Took it from the harbour bridge.
haha the place at the rocks is a german beergarden
I don't really like Sydney (not compared to Brissy or Melbourne anyway) but these photos make me reconsider. Nice work.
I always thought Sydney was my least favorite Australian city, but I have to admit that pictures like this make me rethink it. (Plus you can get pineapple pretzels at one of the food courts.)
Wow great shot of the bridge! That last picture is absolutely stunning! I am going to be moving to New Zealand and we are going to be visiting Australia once we get there.
