The view of Jade Dragon Snow Mountain from the Black Dragon Pool Park in Lijiang is quite spectacular. There is a fee to get in to the park if you take one of the entrances closest to town, but if you walk towards the end where the car park is, you can cross a small bridge and get in for free. Well worth the longer walk.
