A Symphony of Lights

A Symphony of Lights, Hong Kong

As the clock struck 8pm music started up and beacons of light shone from the top of the buildings on the other side of the harbour. For fifteen minutes the lights and lasers move in time with the symphonic music shining across the harbour. 44 buildings on both sides of the harbour take part in the light show which is dubbed ‘A Symphony of Lights’ and it has been named world’s largest permanent light and sound show by Guinness World Records. I found a place on the Avenue of Stars to watch the show and attempt to find a camera setting that would capture the lasers. Between ‘fireworks’ and ‘night scene’ mode I managed to get a few decent pictures but the majority are multi coloured blurs.
