Goodbye UK, hello world!

Leaving UK

I’m not really one for big goodbyes, they always seem so final. I much prefer “see you later” or an Arnie style “I’ll be back”.

The first “see you later” was with my parents yesterday. They came and saw me off at Glasgow airport where I was catching a flight down to London. They have been fantastically supportive of my around the world trip and have some how managed to put up with me living at home for the last 4 months after being away for close to 9 years! Thanks guys, I really appreciate it.

Last night I took the opportunity to catch up with friends over a few too many drinks in London. It was great to see everyone. I’m now sitting at Heathrow airport hoping that my hangover subsides before I need to board the plane to Nairobi.

The advenure has begun!

Where's the other photo with you wearing the hat and looking impossibly cool?!

I hope your travels have been safe and fun so far…!
