First stop is Nairobi!

13 March 2009 No Comments

I’ve just booked a place on the Kenya to Cape Town overland tour with Acacia Africa. I’ll be flying out to Kenya on 7th August from London to join the tour which departs on the 9th from Nairobi. From there, the tour travels down through Botswana, Malawi, Namibia, Tanzania and Zambia, finally reaching Cape Town in South Africa 43 days later.

I’ll be travelling by truck for the most part (they are equiped with bus like seating), transferring to smaller vehicles for safaris, and at night I’ll be camping!

I’ve scheduled a few days in Cape Town after the tour so that I can go to Table Mountain, Shark Cage Diving, and maybe relax a bit before flying to India. This afternoon I’ll be booking the flights, I’m just waiting on a call back from the guy at the Flight Centre.
