Kenya to Cape Town

4 March 2009 2 Comments

I’ve decided to join an overland tour travelling from Nairobi in Kenya to Cape Town in South Africa. The tour lasts for 6 weeks and goes through Botswana, Kenya, Malawi, Namibia, South Africa, Tanzania and Zambia. For those 6 weeks I’ll be travelling in a truck and camping for the majority of the time. It will be one hell of an experience! Acacia Africa have a stall at the TNT Travel Show on Saturday so I’m going to go along and see if they are offering any discounts on their Kenya to Cape Town tour, the highlights of which are described as:

‘Big Five’ safaris in the Masai Mara, Serengeti, Ngorongoro Crater, Chobe and Etosha National Parks Masai and Kalahari Bushman encounters The warm waters and coral reefs of Zanzibar Swinging in a hammock beside Lake Malawi Spectacular Victoria Falls Southern Africa’s delta and dunes; the Okavango Delta and Namib Desert
